In a CNN.com story that’s part of my column, The Wisdom Project, I wrote about training for my first marathon. Part of that practical wisdom includes curating a mix of greatest music hits to run by.

These 79 songs compromise my “clutch marathon mix” to inspire me to run. When I’ve largely run out of energy, these are the tunes that can generate more.
